About Us

Actually, it all began even before official registration.

After the full-scale invasion began, many Ukrainians found themselves on the island. It was a difficult time for everyone: a new environment, uncertainty, home far away. We wanted one thing — to be there for each other and support one another.

That is when we met and started doing simple things: we organized meetups, film screenings, and social gatherings. We helped with everyday questions and supported those who had just arrived. We did it without plans or structure — simply because we all needed it.

Everyone contributed what they could: some helped with documents, some created events, some brought people together around shared interests. This was not formal activity — it was a natural desire not to be alone.

Over time, a living community formed around us. People began coming not only for help, but also for a sense of home, support, and connection.

And we understood: to do more, we needed structure. That is how the association came about — as the next step of what already existed.

Today our mission is not simply to help, but to build a strong, open, and united Ukrainian community abroad. A community where there is support, growth, and the feeling that you are not alone.
