Vyshyvanka Day in Puerto de la Cruz

We invite you to the Vyshyvanka Day celebration in Puerto de la Cruz!

On 23 May at 15:00, at Lago Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz, we will celebrate Vyshyvanka Day — a warm gathering of the Ukrainian community, friends of Ukraine and everyone interested in Ukrainian culture.

This will be the first event of this format in Puerto de la Cruz, where Ukrainians will be able to officially present their culture, traditions and talent to the city. The celebration will take place with the support of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council, Loro Parque, Siam Park and other partners.

Guests will enjoy a Ukrainian cultural programme with songs, dances, music, traditional food, performances and a lively community atmosphere. It will be a day to come together, show the beauty of Ukrainian traditions and share a part of our culture with the city that has become a new home for many Ukrainians.

Vyshyvanka Day is not only about an embroidered shirt. It is about our identity, memory, unity and connection with Ukraine, which we preserve no matter where we live.

For the Ukrainian community, this is an important opportunity to thank Puerto de la Cruz for its support and to show how much creativity, energy and cultural richness Ukrainians can bring to the city.
